Last year was the first year that I used the magic bands. I have a trip planned for this June and October. Do I use the bands I got last year for these two trips? if so, How do I add the reservations to them? Thanks.

    Welcome back, Mark!

Yes! You are welcome to use a MagicBand from a previous vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. However, there are a few things to remember when reusing MagicBands from previous visits. First, be sure your MagicBand is still active in your My Disney Experience account so that theme park admission tickets can be linked properly. Second, each MagicBand is equipped with a battery designed to last about two years, so in your case, you should be good to go. Keep in mind there is no way to test the batteries until you arrive at the resort. So if you are planning to stay at a Disney resort hotel for your upcoming trips, you receive complimentary solid-color MagicBands with each stay. You do have the option to decline MagicBands for each stay if you choose.

Some Guests bring two or three MagicBands with them so they can coordinate with outfits or show off their favorite characters. You can even purchase select graphic designs MagicBands before your trip via the Shop Disney Parks mobile app or visit Disney Parks online store and have them delivered right to your home! I know I have my eye on few to add to my growing collection.

I hope this helps, and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance as you plan your visit.

    Have a magical day!
