Last year Disney did the New Years Eve fireworks on to 2 nights are they doing that again this year?

Hi Frank and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

At this moment in time, it is impossible to say for sure as the Park Schedule on the Walt Disney World website does not currently list the "Fantasy in the Sky" Fireworks Spectacular as taking place at the Magic Kingdom Park on December 30 or 31, 2016.

That said, I can tell you that my family and I have been lucky enough to see the New Year in at the Walt Disney World Resort twice during recent years and both times, we went to the Magic Kingdom Park on December 30 and Epcot on December 31 which enabled us to see the New Year's Eve offerings at both Disney Parks.

Typically, December 30 at the Magic Kingdom Park is treated as a rehearsal for New Year's Eve complete with a showing of the "Fantasy in the Sky" Fireworks Spectacular.

My best advice to you would be to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to see if any posts are released regarding New Year's Eve offerings at the Walt Disney World Resort this year and if all else fails, be sure to pick up a Times Guide when you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort or speak to a Cast Member, to find out if the "Fantasy in the Sky" Fireworks Spectacular will be taking place on December 30 & 31, 2016.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
