Hi Catherine,
How exciting, your upcoming
Walt Disney World vacation is just in a couple of weeks! I don't know about you, but the days leading up to my vacation are some of the most exciting of all ~ well, except for when I am actually in Walt Disney World!
I have to admit, I laughed out loud when I read your comment about how you would not remember a 7-year-old PIN. I feel that! On many days, I am not sure what I cooked for supper the day before, let alone a number from 7 years ago. However, there is an easy answer for you (and me)!
First, you should log into your
My Disney Experience account. Next, navigate to "Profile" which should be right under your name when you hover over the menu in the top right-hand corner of your screen. On that page you will select the option for "Payment Method" which will take you to another page that allows you to store your credit/debit cards as well as reset a PIN. Since it has been a few years since you visited Walt Disney World, most likely you will need to add another payment method as your old ones have likely expired. You are able to store up to 6 cards if you like. By linking a credit/debit card you will be able to make purchases with your MagicBand or Key to the World Card. I find that having a credit/debit card linked to my Disney Resort hotel account for purchases makes my vacation even more seamless.
Catherine, if you have difficulty setting this up online or simply do not want to do this ahead of time, have no worries as you can also reset your PIN at your Disney Resort hotel front desk when you check in.
Have a Magical vacation and please come back and visit us here at planDisney with all of your vacation planning questions!
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
