Is the last week in May a busy time for Disney? When is the best time to go and when is it the coolest ? We would like to go in May or June what do you suggest. I heard that in value season you get more attention from the characters ? Is this true?

I went the last week of May two years ago as a chaperone on a class trip.  The weather was warm not to warm.  Schools weren't out yet, so there were crowds, but they didn't seem overly packed.  The biggest difference with the Characters between the Value season and other times, it just there are less people generally.  The Characters, have a location to go for certain periods of time.  They will be at a Meet & Greet for 20 minutes, if the line is too long, your child may not get to meet that character...we found that if we asked the cast member when the Character will be back, they always told us.  If I had to choose between May and June, I would say May.  I like to go to Walt Disney World during the Value Season, because I feel like my dollar stretches more.  Hope you have a fabulous trip!!
