We last visited WDW in March of 2012. My husband and I noticed that we had a very difficult time texting each other or even trying to call each other on our cell phones. Are there still issues with this?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Candy ~

Being able to stay in touch with each other at Walt Disney World makes a trip so much easier. There were times in the past that I had occasional trouble as well. However, Disney now provides free Wi-Fi in all four of their theme parks - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom - and their resort hotels. I have found that has greatly improved my service in the parks and I am usually able to talk, text, post to my social media sites, and access apps without any issues.

There may be spots here and there (like deep inside an attraction) where you may have some problems, but I think overall you will be very pleased with the improvement in coverage and service.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We will be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
