We last visited in Feb. 2009 and we will be visiting for only one day in Feb. 2013. I am wondering where I can find out if there have been any new or changed rides or attractions since Feb. 2009. I don't want to miss a thing :)

    Hi there, Nicole!

You're coming just in time to check out the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history: the New Fantasyland! With new attractions, dining, and character spots, you are sure to fall for this incredibly charming (and technologically amazing) new build-out, opening in waves throughout 2014.

This did mean that we had to say goodbye to some old favorites: Snow White's Scary Adventures has been closed to make way for the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, opening in a later phase of the expansion.

Don't miss the re-imagined Pirates of the Caribbean, featuring Captain Jack Sparrow and some of the other characters from the movie franchise.

And the incredible new effects that the Imagineers have added to Haunted Mansion will leave you screaming for more

Nighttime is also wonderful at Magic Kingdom with new projection shows on Cinderella Castle, as well as the beautiful Wishes Nighttime Fireworks Spectacular.

And that's just a quick sketch of the incredible day that awaits in in just a few short months.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
