Our last visit was in 2005 and we stayed at the Port Orleans French Quarter. We have a lesser budget this time and I was wondering if we will be disappointed staying at a value resort? Staying at the All Star Sports Resort.

While I think you'll definitely notice a difference in resort amenities, it's hard (especially for a Disney fan like me) to imagine being disappointed in any trip to Disney World!  The most noticeable difference--I believe--will be that the All Star resorts have less imagination thrown into the theming details.  Because Port Orleans French Quarter lacks its own table-service restaurant, you won't miss that.  You might also feel the pinch of not having a standard refrigerator in your resort room.  All that said, if my family had to choose between a stay at a value resort and no stay at all, the value resort would sound mighty fine!  Enjoy your trip.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
