On our last visit, the Star Wars author was signing books in the Bookstore at Hollywood Studios. We found it by accident. Is there a way to find out about special events or special guests beforehand so we can always be in the right place at the right time?

    Hi ML,

I visit the Disney Parks Blog daily, which is filled with helpful information on events like you described. I also find and twebsites helpful since they have many timely updates.

Are you on Twitter?  If you are, it can also have a huge amount of information floating around it about events at Walt Disney World (not always accurate, however).  If you are new to Twitter and would like some suggestions about whom to follow, please let us know.  We will all be happy to share some of our favorites.

And finally when you are actually at Walt Disney World, make sure to always get a copy of the Times Guides at each of the parks (located with the maps) since they will include special events.

Please let us know if we an help again; thank you for visiting the 2012 Walt Disney World Moms Panel.
