Hello!! Last visit was in Sep 09. My family is thinking about going in Jan i know sometimes rides are closed but is everything else the same like parades and fireworks,Since we are not going in summer i feel things will be very different Thank you!

    Hi M!

Indeed, January is typically "refurbishment" month. However, this doesn't really affect parades or fireworks. Most likely the difference you'll notice is the weather and lack of crowds! There really isn't very much being refurbished at any one time that would get in the way of enjoying the parks, unless you are a big Splash Mountain fan! In either case, refurbishment closings can vary and you never know if one year will be exactly like the last. Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
