Hi moms, last visit to DLR we try Ariel´s Groto and PCH Grill for Character Breakfast, this year trying to decide for two options between Plaza Inn, Storytellers Café and Goofy's Kitchen. Which characters able to meet at each restaurant?

Welcome back, Julia Margarita! So nice to hear from you again.  I am so happy that you're making a return visit to Disneyland and I think it's great that you are interested in trying out some new character meals this time around.  While I do love the Plaza Inn, I have to admit that Storyteller's Cafe is my favorite breakfast character experience, while Goofy's Kitchen is my favorite for dinner.  The character interaction at Goofy's kitchen tends to be a bit better than at Storyteller's but the food at Storyteller's, in my opinion, is better.  Plaza Inn is my least favorite in the food department, but offers some of the best character interaction of the three and probably has more characters present than the other two. I was going to list the characters that may appear at each location, but that's the cool thing about these 3 locations... the characters that may appear are usually totally random and it's impossible to know just who you might run into on any given day.

Storyteller's Cafe features "woodland" friends, so you'll definitely see Chip and Dale.  Other regulars include Pocohontas and Meeko, Turk and Tarzan, both bears from Brother Bear, and Br'er Bear and Br'er Fox. At Goofy's Kitchen, Goofy and Pluto are always on duty, but I've seen everyone from Rafiki to Captain Hook to Alice to Snow White, and even Mulan and the Fairy Godmother.  It's totally random.  Your breakfast at Plaza Inn will always be hosted by the fabulous Minnie Mouse, but others that may appear are Captain Hook, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Rabbit, Aladdin, A Penguin from Mary Poppins, Max (Goofy's Son), King Louie, the fox from Pinnocchio... and the list goes on and on.  You could see up to a dozen characters in one sitting. When it comes to characters at Goofy's Kitchen and the Plaza Inn, the possibilities are pretty much endless. Hope this helps and please keep the questions coming!  I love hearing from return visitors here on the Moms Panel! -Amanda F.
