Hello, The last time we went to WDW for my daughters birthday I was able to look online at pictures of cakes to order for her. Now all I can find is a number to call...Does anyone know if there is still a place to view pictures of the cakes??

    Hi Mariellen!

We order custom birthday cakes for my kids every year.  I can tell you from personal experience that the Walt Disney World pastry chefs do a fantastic job with decorating and they taste just as good as they look!  You can view a couple of the standard cakes offered at Walt Disney World on the Celebrations page of the Walt Disney World website.  Use the filter on the left and choose dining to bring up the cakes.  While there is no official Disney website with photos of their specialty cakes since they are all custom made, you can do a Google search for "Disney World Specialty Cakes" and you will find a few threads where guests have posted pictures of their cakes.  My favorite thread is on the DISboards, which you can find on the first page of the Google search.  Disney Food Blog has some great information on pricing and details for ordering a custom cake.  You can find the Disney Food Blog link on the first page of the Google search as well.

When I order our cakes, I just pick flavors and a theme and let the chef surprise us at the restaurant.  My favorite so far has been a Lilo and Stitch cake with edible Hawaiian flowers.

    Have a magically delicious day!
