Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! Having your own My Disney Experience account allows you to make your own theme park plans, like making
theme park reservations, joining a
Virtual Queue, and
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering through the My Disney Experience mobile app.
In order to merge the account managed by your parents with your new account, the parent who managed your account will need to log in to their My Disney Experience account. Your parent should find your account in their Family & Friends List and click “Update” next to your name. Then select “Share Plans with this Guest.” Your parent will be asked for the email address associated with your new My Disney Experience account. After entering your email address, you will receive an email inviting you to share plans with your parent. When you accept, this should combine the information, including your MagicBand, from your old account with your new account.

There is another option, Kaitlin. You could purchase a new
MagicBand+ for your next Walt Disney World Resort visit! There is a vast selection of MagicBand+ designs in merchandise locations throughout the theme parks. You might even see some seasonal designs like the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden MagicBand+.
