Hi Mary!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I also have a special needs son and I am constantly amazed at the way Disney meets the needs of
every single Guest and helps everyone feel so welcome!
Walt Disney World is our son's very favorite place in the world because of the
Disability Access Service (DAS) and this is probably what you are referring to. When you first arrive at the Parks, stop by
Guest Services right inside the front gates with your son to discuss his needs with a Cast Member. It sounds like you have done this in the past and received a DAS card. This allows you avoid waiting in traditional lines by receiving a return time for the
Ride or Attraction of your choice (based on current wait times.) It can now be added to your
MagicBand so be sure everyone in your party is present and has their MagicBands handy. After using the first return time, you can then go to a kiosk in the Park to request another one for a different Ride or Attraction. You can do this as many times as you would like throughout the day. I absolutely love this system as it allows my son to really enjoy his time at Walt Disney World. I know you will feel the same way!
I hope you will come back to see us if there is anything else we can do to help with your planning. Here's wishing you a wonderful visit.
Have a magical day!
