Hiya, Sierra! Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're in official countdown mode for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Some of the best things you can bring with you on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation are comfortable walking shoes and a good plan for your days at the theme parks. If you've checked out some of the
theme park maps, you already know that you can accumulate a lot of steps in just one day! According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, folding chairs are not allowed in the theme parks, water parks, or at Disney Springs. Happily, bench seating is easily found throughout the theme parks, and you can always pop into a
Quick-Service dining location for a refreshing beverage and a chance to kick back and rest for a bit. Some of my favorite attractions like
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover offer a seated ride experience that's exciting and relaxing at the same time!
My family likes to build in some intentional rest times for our Disney vacations. We do this by making an
Advance Dining Reservation at a Table-Service restaurant for each day we will be enjoying a theme park, and scheduling a "resort day" in the middle of our vacation, where we spend time relaxing poolside or taking advantage of the incredible amenities at our
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.
A Walt Disney World Resort vacation can be as relaxing or as fast-paced as you like - just ask my
runDisney fanatic friend and fellow planDisney panelist, Jana! I'm sure you'll find the perfect speed for you during your upcoming trip!
See you real soon!
