Last time we stayed at Ft. Wilderness, I thought I saw cabins in the 100 and/or 200 loop. They were very close to Trails End, the beach and boat launch, etc. I would like to request staying there next summer. Am I crazy or are there actually cabins there?

Howdy, Kim! Thanks for moseying on over to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We always love it when our pals come back to sit a spell and chat about Disney!

Kim, your eyes were not deceiving you! The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground do include two cabins in the 100 loop near the center of all the action at "the Fort." The Disney Parks Blog took readers on a tour of one of these cabins not too long ago, so check it out for a look around! These two cabins are in an amazing location, right next to the Settlement area. You can amble over to Pioneer Hall to sip on a beverage at Crockett's Tavern or have some hand-clappin' fun at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, and you're just steps away from the boat launch to Magic Kingdom Park. Sounds ideal, doesn't it?

My family just loves the Fort and we stay in one of the rustic little cabins at least once a year, but we have yet to experience the 100 loop magic. It seems to be a mix of luck and pixie dust that gets you a stay in one of these special cabins. One thing I do know - it certainly never hurts to ask!

I hope you have a magical time during your next visit to Fort Wilderness, Kim. Be sure to stop by and see us again soon, ya hear?

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
