Last time we stayed at Pop Century Resort. This time we would like to stay at a moderate resort. We are a family of four. Two girls ages 9 and 11. Which would you prefer to stay at with great access for ease of transportation? Thanks

Hi Stacey! Although I like several moderate resorts for different reasons I feel the best one in regards to transportation is the Port Orleans French Quarter.

This is a bit smaller then the Riverside section and you have an option to take a boat to Downtown Disney where you can then catch other buses to parks and resorts. The Disney transportation on the whole is very easy but sometimes the waits on hot days become unbearable.  If you have a tight connection for a dining reservation consider taking a taxi.  The price will be under $20 anywhere you need to go and most likely more like $10-$12.  If you have a large group request a van and if you have small children that you want in a car seat request one that is carrying one in their trunk. Florida law states children do not need to be restrained in commercial vehicles, however, it is nice to know many still bring them along for families to use.
