Kids on attraction

Last time we were at the parks, my child was too short to ride a few rides. Some of these rides gave a “return when you’re tall enough” pass. The cast members said these are like fast passes. Is that still valid? Can just my daughter ride or all of us?

Hi Kellie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so happy you stopped by to pay us a visit.

How amazing that your child has so much to look forward to on a future visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Finally being able to reach the height for an attraction you’ve been waiting to experience is such a special milestone! The pass your child received is a rare one, and is given out at the Cast Members’ discretion. However, it sounds as if your child was sprinkled with some extra pixie dust on at least a couple of occasions on your last visit to Walt Disney World!

I spoke with a Cast Member regarding use of the “return when you are tall enough” passes. She mentioned that instructions for use of the pass are often clearly written on it, but that usually the pass entitles the child and his/her travel party to all board the attraction once the height limit is reached! Make sure you take it with you on your next Walt Disney World vacation and present it to the Cast Member at the FastPass+ entrance to that particular attraction. How special for your little one to finally get to experience something he/she has wished for, but also to get to share it with loved ones!

Kellie, I hope you are keeping this special pass safe until your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please do not hesitate to come back to see us if we can help you as you start making plans!

    See ya real soon,
