Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love getting our packing started by putting a fun and recognizable Walt Disney World Resort luggage tag on our luggage. This year The Walt Disney Travel Company changed up the tags to make them even more enjoyable but they are only available with a Resort
vacation package. Luggage tags are matched to the color of the MagicBands you order and feature the classic Disney characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and one with both Mickey and Minnie. A quick web search for images of “New Disney Luggage Tags” will give you all the details.
Luggage tags are received by:
1. At home in the MagicBand box if the Guests have booked and customized their MagicBands 10+ days prior to check-in date.
2. At their Resort hotel front desk in their MagicBand box for both Guests who have booked and customized their MagicBands 6-9 days prior to check-in and Guests who have not customized their MagicBands.
3. At their Resort hotel front desk for Guests who have who have opted out of MagicBands and/or booked a reservation 1-5 days prior to their check-in date.
Disney Dad Tip: As soon as you book your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package make sure to customize your MagicBands. Your girls may decide on a specific MagicBand color just to get the luggage tag they like the most.
