Hi there, Jessica!
I definitely think the
Electrical Water Pageant is worth waiting for after you're finished with your dinner at 'Ohana, especially since you've never seen it before! There are several fun shops in the main building that all have different merchandise and I always love to spend time in there looking for special souvenirs. One of my very favorite shops on all of Walt Disney World property is the Wyland Gallery located on the lobby floor. You'll find so many absolutely beautiful pieces of art from paintings to sculptures, most with a little hint of Disney. We always enjoy spending a little bit of time browsing there.
There are so many beautiful sights to see around the Polynesian Resort too! I recommend taking a stroll around the front lobby to look at all of the gorgeous tropical foliage. I think you'll also enjoy going for a walk around the outside grounds. There is actually a walking path that goes from the Polynesian to the Grand Floridian and it makes for a really gorgeous walk. The views are so magical! You could even go on a boat ride over to Magic Kingdom Park and just stay on for the ride back! I love the way the Resorts look at night when they're all lit up!
I'll tell you a little secret...my absolute favorite place to watch Wishes nighttime spectacular fireworks is from the sandy shores of Disney's Polynesian Resort! Step onto the white sand and pull up a lounge chair or even a hammock! The music is piped in so you'll feel like you're right there. You're in store for a real treat!
I hope this helps, Jessica! Please feel free to let us know if there are any other questions we can help you with!
Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
