Hello there, Andria. Welcome to
planDisney!
The posts that you are seeing are still accurate, Andria. You are able to make a Walt Disney World Resort hotel only reservation 499 days in advance. The reason you aren't seeing a lot about this online is that you do have to call to book that far ahead. You can call (407) 939-1936 and have a Cast Member assist you with this. When you book a resort-only reservation you'll need to know what resort hotel you'd like to stay at, your travel dates and you'll also be required to put down a $200 deposit. If you'd like to book a vacation package for 2023, I do expect those to be released sometime in the next few months. If you go ahead and book a resort hotel-only stay to secure a spot, you can always upgrade to a vacation package when they are released. If you have your heart set on a particular hotel, I do recommend doing it this way. I've noticed that some of the hotels are pretty popular and can fill up pretty quickly.
I have favorite resorts in all of the categories, Andria. If you are looking in the value category, I recommend
Disney's POP Century Resort. I love all of the iconic memorabilia around that resort and also how all of the rooms have been refurbished lately. In the moderate category, I always stay at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. I love the island vibe with the white sandy beaches and hammocks all around. It's really like two vacations in one. For the deluxe category,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort always has my vote. It's a convenient location to Magic Kingdom Park and they have really great dining options.
I hope this helps get your planning off to a great start. If you have any other questions along the way please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. Happy planning!
