last October I purchased 2 4 day tickets with admission to 1 park per day. they were reserved to be used Jan 11,2002 -Jan 17,2022. unfortunately my husband fell ill and only 1 ticket was used. please advise how the $457.63 price of the ticket can be used

Hey Howdy Hey Donna and welcome to planDisney!

So sorry to hear that your trip this past January did not go as planned. Looks like you may have had a ticket you did not use so let's go over some options for you.

The first thing to do is to check to see if you still have access to your unused ticket on your My Disney Experience account. You would do this by highlighting your My Disney Experience account and under the drop-down menu click on the "My Plans" section. Scroll down until you see the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets section". You should see a smaller menu at the top of this section for "Tickets and Memory Maker". Click on that menu and check to see if your ticket is still accessible from that screen. If so, you might be able to click on the unused ticket and change the use date of the ticket by following the link you should see on it. There should also be an expiration date as well in which you can reschedule the use date of the ticket up until that date. Just a forewarning, that if you rebook your park ticket for a more expensive time you will be charged the difference. The rebooking process will let you know if this is the case and the difference before you complete this step.

Another option that you have is calling Disney at (407) 934-7639 and discussing your situation with a Cast Member. If you have your previous reservation number for your vacation or a confirmation number, this will help expedite the process. While park tickets do have an expiration date on them, in the past, Disney has been really good about honoring unused tickets and allowing you to apply what you paid to the purchase of a new ticket. This also goes with the process above. If you find yourself wanting to book a date farther out from the expiration date, call Disney and talk to a Cast Member and see if they will be able to help you apply this cost to another ticket.

I hope one of these options works out for you and you can head back to Walt Disney World Resort for a Magical vacation everyone can enjoy. If you have any further questions let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!

    Have a Magical Day,
