Last night, we watched Mickey's 90th Spectacular on tv. Are the resorts or theme parks doing anything to celebrate Mickey's birthday?

    Welcome Back, Susan!

Oh Boy! Wasn't it so much fun to see and celebrate the World's favorite mouse in last week's television special? Mickey Mouse's Birthday is November 18, which is the day Steamboat Willie was first released in 1928. Disney's various theme parks usually hand out a special Celebration Button to each guest visiting that day as a 'party favor', and in the past there may have been a specially themed snack or two. However, earlier this year the Disney Parks Blog announced that Mickey will be honored all across the globe with 'The World's Biggest Mouse Party', which will start on his birthday and continue with extra fun popping up throughout the end of this year and into the next as well.

Unique photo locations are already up, and commemorative merchandise, treats and more will debut on November 18. Mickey and Minnie will don some super stylish new party duds in January at their brand new "Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party". And you can even join the fun by sharing your photos on various social media channels using the #Mickey90 hashtag!

Definitely check back with the Disney Parks Blog as we get closer to Mickey's birthday and to your Walt Disney World Resort visit. And also be sure to check out Good Morning America this week as they'll be visiting every Disney Parks Resort in part of the celebration!

We'll See You Real Soon, Susan!
