Last night I rolled my ankle pretty badly and will need crutches to get around. Am I able to bring crutches in the park & are there special lines I can join so I'm not stuck standing around for hours in crutches?

Oh no, Ashley! I’m so sorry about your ankle. I hope you are not in too much pain.

First of all, I highly recommend that you consult with your medical provider to determine the appropriate level of physical activity you may perform while still allowing for your injury to heal. And yes, of course, you may take mobility aids such as crutches with you to the Disneyland Resort theme parks. You’ll be glad to find that most attraction queues are accessible to guests with mobility aids.

There may be some attractions with more restrictive access, especially some of the classic attractions in Disneyland Park. In those cases, you will want to speak with a Cast Member at the attraction to make arrangements for a return time reservation to access the attraction using an alternate entrance. You may also consult with a Cast Member at any of the Guest Relations locations for additional information and support you may need. Please take a moment to review the levels of accommodations and accessibility at Disneyland Resort attractions.

Among the available services for Guests with disabilities, you find wheelchair and electric convenience vehicle (ECV) rentals. Available on a first-come basis, these mobility aids may help you to navigate the theme parks more easily.

Tony’s Tip: One of the best ways to enjoy your favorite attractions with less waiting is to purchase the Disney Genie+ service. After you activate your theme park ticket or Magic Key pass for the day, you may add this service to your park admission within the Disneyland mobile app. You will feel like a VIP when you use Genie+ to reserve access to the Lightning Lane entrances of select attractions. A few attractions with Lightning Lane entrances are not included with the Genie+ service. Access to these individual Lightning Lanes may be purchased one at a time within the Disneyland app.

Ashley, I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort. And I’m wishing on a star that your ankle becomes whole again soon.

    See ya’ real soon!
