Last night we purchased Canadian resident tickets and selected that the tickets be delivered to our home address in Canada. Will we still need to visit guest services prior to entering the park to prove residency, or can we go straight to the gate?

    Hi Andrea,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

I’m thrilled to hear that you were able to take advantage of the Special Offer for Canadian residents on Theme Park Tickets during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Even if you have your tickets delivered to a Canadian address, you’ll still need to visit a ticket window or Guest Relations, along with proof of Canadian residency (a driver’s license or passport work best) prior to entering your first Theme Park in order to activate your tickets. I’ve had to do this several times when I’ve purchased these kinds of tickets and, based on my experience, it really doesn’t take that much time to get through the activation process.

If you’re worried about taking time out of your Disney Day, if possible, I’d highly recommend visiting Guest Relations at Disney Springs the day before you plan to visit your first Theme Park. That way, you can activate your tickets, pick up a tasty treat or do some shopping, and then start your first day in the Parks without any ticket-related delays.

Should you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
