    We have a last minute trip; is there any way to see if our old magic bands work...they're at least 1.5 years old maybe a little older. If we need new ones, are there special ones only available in park or are they the same as available online?

    Hi Michele-Lee,

    Last-minute trips are so much fun. Especially when a visit to Walt Disney World is involved!

    As long as your tickets are linked in your My Disney Experience account and your MagicBands are marked as active, you should be able to use them.

    If you are staying in a Disney Resort Hotel, you will have the option to get new bands at check-in or use your existing bands. A Cast Member will make sure you are all set. Remember that if you are not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you will not be able to make purchases using your MagicBand.

    There are many fun and whimsical MagicBands all over the parks in case you decide you need a new one. And don't forget to add some fun accessories!
