Hi Kristen! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for taking the time to personally send me your question. I'm happy to help!
How exciting that you're heading to The Most Magical Place on Earth for the first time ever! Dining is always at the top of my planning list and I definitely have some suggestions for you on how you might be able to score some last-minute dining reservations. If you have certain places in mind where you hope to dine, I suggest you keep checking the
Walt Disney World website for availability. You could also do an internet search for a dining reservation finder. There are many complimentary ones where you enter your desired location, date, time, and the number of guests. If a reservation becomes available, you can receive notifications.
You can also use the
My Disney Experience App and try to join a walk-up waitlist at select dining locations. You have to be in close proximity to do this, but I have had success when I haven't been able to get an
advanced dining reservation. You could also check with dining locations at your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. In my experience, I have been able to walk up to a Cast Member at the restaurant's podium and have my name added to the waitlist.
If you're unable to get a dining reservation at times during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, there are so many great food options for quick service and you can use the My Disney Experience App for
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. It's a great way to skip the line and save time! Some of my favorite sips and bites are at
the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. You won't be able to mobile order, but the lines at the
Outdoor Kitchens are generally short and move quickly.
We can't wait for you to be our guest and I hope you have the most magical vacation ever! If you have more planning questions before you arrive, please
feel free to send them to me. I would love to help!
Happy Planning!
Smiles,
Lisa
