Dossie,
I LOVE Disney tours! I just returned from a girls' trip & we took the Backstage Magic Tour. Its awesome! This 7 hr tour gives you a behind the scenes look at all 4 theme parks including the utilidors at MK. We toured the nursery & saw where the WDW gardeners bring to life the incredible topiaries you see throughout WDW. It was super cool to see where parade vehicles, signs & other things are made. Lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe was super yummy! This tour starts & ends at Epcot. Theme park admission is not required nor included.
If a 7 hr tour is too long, you may enjoy the Keys to the Kingdom Tour at MK which lasts ~ 4.5 hrs. Theme park admission is not included but is required. You also get to see the utilidors on this tour which explores the stories behind the creation & growth of MK. Hear the intriguing story of Walt Disney & learn how his innovative ideas & revolutionary visions brought MK to life.
If you are a true Disney history fan & the two above tours are too long or not enough, check out Inspiration: Through Walt's Eyes. During this 3 hr tour, your guides share stories that reveal how Walt Disney was inspired to pursue his dreams & how his desire to succeed influenced those around him.
