Last minute opportunity to go to Disney at the end of March. I have a 3.5 yr. girl & a 1.5 yr. boy. Both my husband & I have never been. Need any tips or tricks & suggestions of places to eat/go since we are so late to book.

    Hi, there!

Alexis, I am just thrilled to hear you have a last-minute opportunity to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with your little ones and husband. You are going to have such a magical first visit!

I suggest booking at least one Character Dining Experience during your vacation. As a mom of three, I find Character Dining Experiences to be super convenient; my kids get to see their favorite Disney characters AND enjoy a kid-friendly meal! Some of our favorites, that usually have last-minute availability, include The Crystal Palace and Hollywood & Vine.

There are exceptional Quick-Service dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort that don't require advanced dining reservations, like Satu'li Canteen at Pandora - The World of Avatar, but if you're looking for Table-Service restaurants with plenty of availability, Epcot is the place to be! My kiddos have always enjoyed San Angel Inn Restaurante in the Mexico pavilion and Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco pavilion. My oldest is a picky eater, but we've never had an issue finding him something on a menu at a Walt Disney World Resort restaurant!

You can check the availability of Table-Service dining locations online, or by calling a friendly Cast Member at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-1947. Don't fret if you can't find the reservation you're hoping for! Sometimes, reservations will become available closer to the date of your arrival. Continue to check availability, even after you've arrived, using the My Disney Experience app.
