We have a last minute military trip and would love to take our kids to Disneyland while there. It looks like there are no open "reservations" available, does that mean we can't go / get in to Disney?

Welcome to planDisney, Jeanne! Thanks so much for stopping by and sending us your question. I'm always happy to help a fellow Coloradan!

Visiting the theme parks has been especially popular since the Disneyland Resort reopened. I'm so sorry there wasn't any availability when you went to make your reservations. Theme Park Reservations are required to enter the theme parks, so you must have a reservation for each person in your travel party. I just checked the calendar for Theme Park Reservation Availability on your arrival date, April 25th, and unfortunately, it appears this date is still unavailable for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The calendar is updated in real-time and it is possible reservations could open up with some faith, trust, and pixie dust! I would recommend checking first thing each morning and frequently throughout the day. If you happen to see a reservation pop up, you will want to purchase your theme park tickets quickly and immediately make the reservations before that availability disappears. If you will already be in the area on the day you would like to visit the theme parks, you could check with the ticket booth that morning for any possible availability, but there's no guarantee and I would hate for your kids to be disappointed.

I hope that you're able to make reservations to visit the theme parks. I also wanted to take a moment to say thank you to your family for their military service. As a Navy Mom, I know this is a great sacrifice and I'm very appreciative!
