Being a last minute decision to visit Disney all the things I would love to do are sold out. How can I find open reservations for Ohana or Chef Mickey's breakfast? Is it just by luck if someone cancels prior to arrival or check on the morning of?

Hey there, Sharon, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question!

Last-minute Walt Disney World visits are the way my family plans most of our visits to The Walt Disney World Resort! With a young family, it’s much easier to find babysitters at last-minute notice versus when we try to plan months in advance. But last-minute trips do come with a few unique challenges. In my experience, Disney Dining is the most challenging piece of quick Disney Vacation planning. 'Ohana and Chef Mickey’s reservations are tough to secure for any vacation, but a little persistence goes a long way in this area. With this in mind, I suggest looking for reservation availability daily until your arrival date. Additionally, in my experience, new waves of reservation ability typically open up about a week before my arrival date. And since reservations require 24-hour cancellation notification, new availability typically opens the day before your desired dining day.

I hope this helps, Sharon! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
