Last June 2011, we arrived at Magic Kingdom around 8:15 to see that the park had already been open since 8:00 (not an early magic hour). When and where would they post the park opening earlier than normal times. The calendars I had printed out did not have

    Hi Rachel!

You can find park hours up to the end of November on the Walt Disney World website HERE.  You can click on the park hyperlink and find the month at a time calendar as well.  This will tell you the park hours, if there are Extra Magic Hours and parade/show times as well.

There shouldn't be a reason other than Extra Magic Hours that a park is open earlier than the posted opening time.  If guests have breakfast reservations before the park opens, they will let them in early for that, but not the general guests that are waiting for rope drop.

    Have a magical day!
