When's the last day to visit "a bug's land" before it closes?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kelly!

I’m so glad that it sounds like you’ve been keeping up with your Disney Parks news! It’s so important to stay up-to-date since things seem to change so rapidly at the parks. It was announced last month that “a bug’s land” will close to make way for a new super hero-themed land that will open in 2020. While “It’s Tough to Be a Bug” closed on March 19, the rest of the land is scheduled to close late this summer. There hasn’t been an exact closing date announced, so definitely keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog as your travel dates approach.

If you’ll be traveling with little ones after “a bug’s land” has closed, I wanted to let you know that there is still plenty to do with kids at Disney California Adventure Park. My daughter loves The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue!, both of which have no height requirement. If your kids are at least 32” tall, then they will have a ball on Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters in Cars Land. Beyond attractions, there are some fabulous shows that are perfect for children including Frozen – Live at the Hyperion and Disney Junior Dance Party! Finally, when it’s time to let your kids burn off some energy, head to the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and let them explore, climb, and slide to their hearts’ content.

Please stop by again if you have any other questions! See ya real soon!
