On the last day of our trip our flight home does not leave until 8:30pm. I know we will have to check out of our Disney resort by 11am, but we have tickets to visit the parks that day before our flight home. What will we be able to do with our luggage?

    Hi Haley,

I'm so glad you plan to squeeze every bit of magic out of your last day at Walt Disney World by heading to the theme parks after you check out of your resort. Good for you!

You needn't worry at all about your luggage while you are out enjoying yourself that last day. Your Disney resort hotel has you covered. After you leave your guest room for the last time, take your bags down to Bell Services at your hotel. They will happily store your belongings in a safe place while you enjoy all that Walt Disney World has to offer. They will give you a claim slip when you drop your bags off. Later in the day when you return to Bell Services before heading to the airport, simply present that document to claim your luggage. I have utilized this convenient and complimentary service frequently. It's great!

Another option you might consider is checking your bags through to the airport at least three hours in advance of your flight departure time at your hotel's Resort Airline Check-In Desk. Many airlines that operate through Orlando International Airport participate in this service. In this case, you wouldn't need to stop by Bell Services before heading to the airport unless you chose to leave your carry-on luggage with them.

Wishing you many magical memories on your upcoming trip,
    Jill
