On the last day of our trip we are going to Beaches and Cream at 11:00 am. We are flying home. How long will be be at the restaurant to schedule a flight home? I am not sure when to schedule a flight. It will be just my husband and I.

Hello, Mia! Thanks so much for your question. As a general rule of thumb for Table Service Restaurants I always plan for at least an hour and a half for dining reservations. In my experience, an hour and a half has proven to be a reliable amount of time for my son and I to enjoy a meal and not feel rushed. Everyone is different, so what might work for us might not work for you. Also, if you are planning to use Disney's Magical Express keep in mind that pick-up time is typically 3 hours before departure. This means that you have to be back at your Resort Hotel and all packed and ready to leave for the Orlando International Airport around 3 hours before departure time. If your reservation is for 11:00 a.m. and you schedule an hour and a half of free time to enjoy your meal, that would have you finishing up around 12:30 p.m. Add in an extra hour for travel time back to your Resort Hotel, that has you ready for Disney's Magical Express at around 1:30 p.m. To allow for time to eat and for Disney's Magical Express pick-up, you should be looking for flights that depart around 4:30 p.m. or later. If you feel that you will need more time to eat and navigate your way back to your Resort Hotel, I would suggest looking for flights later than 4:30 so that you can build more flex time into your plans in case something goes wrong. I think 4:30 should be the earliest departure time you look at.

I hope this helps, and if you need anything else, please let us know. Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
