Our last day at Disney will be 5/17. we are staying at a Disney resort hotel. our flight leaves at 10PM. we plan to use Magic Express. can we fit The Animal Kingdom in to our schedule for the last day without missing our flight or feeling rushed.

    Hi Tameka,

Your countdown clock is ticking away and you will be at Walt Disney World Resort before you know it. How exciting!

Disney's Magical Express, the super convenient, comfortable, and complimentary transportation to and from Walt Disney World Resort for Guests staying on-site, will be scheduled to pick you up from your Resort Hotel three hours before your flight departure time. You will want to plan to be in the pick-up area by 6:45 p.m.

There are a few things that you can do in the morning to make sure that you have the most time to enjoy Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park on the day of your departure without feeling rushed. If your airline participates in the Resort Airline Check-In Service, then either ring Bell Services for assistance, or bring your luggage down to the counter in the morning when you are ready to check-out from your Resort Hotel. You can obtain your boarding passes and check your luggage right there at the podium! If you have any carry-on bags, you can simply leave those with Bell Services and pick them up before you board Disney's Magical Express. For your checked luggage, you won't need to see it again until you arrive at your final airport.

I checked the schedule for your departure day, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Since busses can be a little crowded at theme park closing time, and because I always over-estimate for time on departure day, I would plan to be in the Bus area by 5:00 p.m. That should give you plenty of time to return to your Resort Hotel, pick-up whatever you left at Bell Services, shop for any last-minute souvenirs, and head out to wait for your Motor Coach back to Orlando International Airport.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
