Last day after check out we would like to go from Resort to Resort to see the Christmas decorations. How should we do this, ME or our own vehicle? If we drive how do we get into the resort if we are not actually staying there (what do we tell the guard?)

Hello Kelly!  It is quite common for guests to go to other resorts to check out the Christmas decorations.  Since you have a car, it may be easier for you to drive.  All you need to tell the security guard is the truth - that you are there to check out the fabulous holiday decorations - and he/she will ask to see a photo ID before letting you go through.  Chances are you will be given a temporary parking pass which should give you ample time to check out the resorts.

To cut down on your driving time, you may want to visit the resorts in 'clusters.'  For example, if you park at the Polynesian, you can use the resort monorail to also visit the Grand Floridian and Contemporary resorts.  And you may want to pick a resort in the Boardwalk area to do the same thing for the resorts in the surrounding area.

I hope your holiday vacation is super magical!  Diane  :)
