On our last cruise(Fantasy), my 9yo(g) found the club to be boring/too focused on little kids. Our next cruise(Dream), she will be 10 1/2. Is there any option to let her join Edge of instead? She looks younger if that matters.

Welcome back to planDisney, Holly! One of my favorite things about the kids clubs on Disney Cruise Line is the great programming the counselors provide to kids of all ages.

Edge is for young Guests ages 11 to 14, and this rule is in place for everyone's safety.  Your daughter will still need to go to Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab until she turns 11. As my son got older but not old enough for Edge, he enjoyed playing games in the Oceaneer Club like Four Square and video games. He still wanted to stay until the club closed! I hope your daughter can still find something to do and maybe make a new friend while onboard.

While on the Disney Dream, get ready to have a spooky good time during Halloween on the High Seas. From the Pumpkin Tree to Mickey's Mouse-querade, you all will have lots of treats, not tricks. Make sure to download or update the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to view all of the onboard activities happening during your sailing. If you have any other questions, come back to visit me and my planDisney pals.

    Happy Planning!
