On our last cruise, our dinner table mates were so perfectly matched to us (my son was 10 and there were two 10 year old girls at our table). Does Disney always try to match the ages of the children when combining families? We're on the Fantasy this time

    Hi Randi!
I'm so happy to hear you've had great experiences with your tablemates on your Disney Cruises! Some cruisers are wary of sitting with other guests at meals, but I always encourage people to give it a try. You never know when you might make a new friend for life on a Disney Cruise Line vacation!

From our experience, when we've shared a table at dinner, the other family always had children the same ages as ours. It's nice, because the kids had friends their same age to talk to at dinner. When they headed off to the Youth Clubs, they'd already made a friend onboard! It helped them feel comfortable since they've never been the right ages to be in the same club together.

Disney does a great job making sure every cruiser has the best experience possible on their voyage. They think of everything, including carefully selecting your tablemates. Dining on a Disney ship is already pretty amazing, but with the addition of like-minded guests to share a meal with, it's practically perfect!

I hope you have an amazing vacation on the beautiful Disney Fantasy. May you have a voyage full of memorable moments and new Disney friendships!

    Bon Voyage! - Diane W.
