Buongiorno, Susan! Welcome aboard, planDisney!
I just disembarked the gorgeous
Disney Treasure a few hours ago. While I’m sad that we left the beautiful ship we love so dearly, I’m happy to be answering your question because I get to talk about one of my favorite things we had on board: the iced tea at
Palo Steakhouse!
Like you, my husband adores the iced tea at Palo Steakhouse and
Enchante. Besides the taste, his favorite thing about it is the iced tea cubes they make out of it, which go
into the iced tea! The first time we had it at
Palo on a previous Disney cruise ship years ago, we said to each other, “Why has nobody ever thought to turn iced tea into ice cubes so that the drink is no longer watered down?!” It’s an absolutely genius concept! When we arrived home, he started making iced tea cubes to go into his iced tea!
On our voyage this past week, he of course ordered his beloved iced tea at both restaurants, during our brunch at Palo Steakhouse and dinner at Enchante. We asked both restaurants about the brand of iced tea, and our server at Enchante confirmed that the tea used to make their iced tea, as well as at Palo Steakhouse (and cubes!), is Dammann Freres! The exact type of tea used is loose-leaf Earl Grey.
Susan, I hope I confirmed this answer for you and offered a bit more magic at home. Like you, we’re going to be brewing a lot of Dammann Freres Earl Grey iced tea in our house, until our next magical Disney Cruise Line sailing, when we can experience brunch at Palo and Palo Steakhouse again!
Wishing you magical memories, always. Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.
Arrivederci,
Rana
