Last Christmas my family visited WDW and received two sets of magic bands. We are planning to book another trip. Can we reuse the magic bands, or must we purchase new? If we can reuse, is this something we simply tell agent when booking?

    Hi Jessica!

You can certainly reuse your previous MagicBands.  They have a battery life of approximately 2 years, so they will last a little while.  You can manage your MagicBands in your My Disney Experience account by logging in and clicking on 'MagicBands and Cards'.  You will see your existing MagicBands as well as any MagicBands that need customizing for upcoming booked resort reservations.  All guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort receive complimentary MagicBands, but there is an option to opt-out of getting new ones if you prefer to use your existing MagicBands.

Any plans that you have made in your My Disney Experience account such as resort reservations or FastPass+ reservations will automatically be linked to any active MagicBands in your account.  There is no need to do anything.

    Have a magical day!
