Welcome back to planDisney, Jennifer!
Regardless if I’m chowing down at Kona Cafe or getting hugs from characters at Cape May, I always want to live in the moment. If you’re a Disney foodie like I am, you’ll totally understand the uncomfortable feeling of being rushed. I have good news ahead for you, Jennifer.
If you want to book the last breakfast or brunch
advance dining reservation time, you absolutely can! In the case of a table-service restaurant, you will still be able to enjoy your meal without being rushed. Of course, you don’t want to linger for hours, but the Cast Members will treat your party like any other Guests. The way I like to see it is if the reservation is available, it is expected to offer the same service as an earlier time. My family also likes to sleep in, so we purposely book later meals even when other bookings are available. Hakuna Matata!
Some restaurants, like the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy
The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom, transition right into the next mealtime. That means that you’ll experience both breakfast and lunch. My husband loves grabbing a plate full of Mickey Churro Waffles (yum!) and heading back up for shrimp cocktail.
AN EXTRA GEM: I highly recommend checking out some of the
Disney Springs restaurants, especially if you’re night owls. The restaurants there stay open as late as 11 p.m. (check the specific times of the restaurant that you’re interested in visiting). The Disney buses to your Resort hotel will continue running for about one hour after Disney Springs’s closing time. One of my favorite spots to hang out there are Frontera Cocina, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, and eet by Maneet Chauhan.
Jennifer, you have quite the adventure ahead! If you have any other questions before, after, or even during your upcoming trip, don’t hesitate to
ask them here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
