Kathryn from NY Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Last August when we went to Disney I received an email with a special fast pass for lunch at Be Our Guest, unfortunately we could not use it. We are going again this coming December and I would like to go for lunch one day since we never got to do it?

    Bonjour Kathryn,

Thanks so much for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Be Our Guest Restaurant is one of my favorite dining spots in all of Walt Disney World, so I definitely recommend giving it a try if it works with your plans in December.

I'm not sure if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel during your visit, but if you are, I have some great news.  You're be eligible to participate in the FastPass+ option that's still being tested for lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant.  No special invitation or email needed!  To check for availability for your vacation dates, just visit, log in using your Disney account information and follow the instructions from there.  As you can probably guess, dining in Beast's Castle is très popular, so I'd recommend checking early and often for those lunch openings.  If you don't see anything at first, don't give up - it wasn't until about 4 weeks before my check-in date that I was able to make a FastPass+ selection for my trip coming up.  If you aren't staying on property, I'd recommend stopping by the restaurant early in the day and checking with a Cast Member about availability for the day.

Sending you lots of pixie dust, Kathryn, and wishing you a most magical vacation!  Please write back if we can help answer any other questions.
