Hi, there!
Oh my goodness, Tracy - it looks like you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort TODAY. That's super exciting! You're sure to Fall into magic!
Exploring the theme parks requires a
lot of walking. It'll tire anyone out! I think having a stroller or wheelchair on hand for your nephew will be a necessity.
Strollers and wheelchairs are available to rent from all four theme parks and Disney Springs. Single strollers are recommended for children 50 lbs. or less. A double stroller may be a better option for your nephew as it's recommended for children 100 lbs. or less.
Wheelchair rentals are one size, but I can tell you that I've seen plenty of children utilize them in the theme parks.
If you'll be a Guest of the
Disney Resorts Collection, you may want to consider renting a stroller or wheelchair from ScooterBug, Disney's Featured Rental Provider. This Orlando-based rental company will deliver a stroller or wheelchair directly to your Disney Resort hotel. They offer a few single strollers with higher weight limits in addition to a pediatric wheelchair. One of these options may be a better fit your nephew.
Your visit is the perfect time to experience
The World's Most Magical Celebration! There's lots of new magic to discover in the theme parks, including brand-new nighttime spectaculars.
Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and
Harmonious at EPCOT are not to be missed!
I hope this was helpful, Tracy. I'm wishing you and your family a Disney vacation that is practically perfect in every way!
Ashley
