Charles, since you are checking in this week, I would recommend
calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations about any upgrades that might be available. Most standard rooms can sleep four or five adults (plus an infant under three), while some larger rooms at
Deluxe Villa Resorts can accommodate up to twelve people and feature multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.
Another option might also be booking a second standard room. This will provide you with more space and may have more available options than the larger villas do this close to your arrival. If you end up reserving a second room, you can also note a room request for adjoining (nearby) or connecting (interior doors) rooms. While these room requests cannot be guaranteed, I’ve always found Cast Members are happy to do what they can to accommodate!
Regardless of which hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection you choose, you’ll enjoy
many great resort benefits. One of my favorites is
Early Theme Park Entry, which gives you an extra thirty minutes each morning in each park! When checking Park Hours on the
Walt Disney World Resort website or in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App, you’ll see this earlier opening noted. If you want to make the most of this time, I suggest being ready to leave your hotel when
transportation starts running - usually about 45 minutes before that early entry opening time!
