We have a large party and will be staying at AoA on an upcoming trip. Will the people staying in a Mermaid room be able to 'magic band' into the Cars building to get to our room or will someone need to wait by the main door to let them in?Thanks!

Hello, Jackie, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question!

Vacationing at The Place Where Dreams Come True couldn’t be more fun than with large parties, especially since everyone will be enjoying incredible benefits and magical experiences together as Guests at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort; that’s amazing!

Jackie, MagicBands for all Disney Resort hotel Guests are associated to their specific Guest Room package reservation, therefore, access cannot be granted for separate and different Guest Rooms (subject to change), for the safety of all Guests. A great meeting place would be in front of The Big Blue Pool with direct access to Animation Hall, or, your visiting friends from The Little Mermaid section can wait near the Cars Family Suites building main entrance. I’m so excited that you’ll be staying at this Resort hotel, which will easily “draw” you into the beloved Disney-Pixar movies.

    Moms Tips:
-Enjoy all the little details throughout The Cars section, especially the stack of tires near Luigi and Guido and for whom they are named.
-Check out the chandelier in Animation Hall and look for hand-signed sketches by four popular directors in Disney Animation.
-Invite Family & Friends to streamline your vacation planning.

We hope you enjoy your stay as our Guest, Jackie, and wish you many magical memories.
