Hi! We have a large party (11) coming to WDW in March. I usually see discounts by this time but I haven't. Any idea if they will put some out for that time? Also any suggestions on how to do dinning for that large of a party? Thank you in advance!

Hey howdy hey Julie and welcome to planDisney! One of the best parts about traveling to Walt Disney World resort is the ability to do it with the whole family. The multigenerational experience is something to truly cherish as well as the bonding with cousins and close relatives or friends all in one Magical place. It is truly one of the many reasons, we call Walt Disney World Resort the Most Magical Place on Earth. Looks like you will be heading down to Walt Disney World Resort soon, and boy, I have some great news for you!

Recently, Walt Disney World Resort did release a Special Offer for a 5-Night Stay at Select Disney Resort Hotels with travel dates from March 6th to July 7th, 2022, in which your vacation might fall into this category. What you can do at this point, is call Walt Disney World Resort at (407) 939-7210 and speak to a Cast Member to check and see if you qualify for this offer. If so, the Cast Member will be able to update your bill and pass the savings back to you!

When it comes to dining with larger parties in Walt Disney World Resort, the great part is that there are a lot of options for you in all parks and hotels across property. One of my big recommendations is to check out 'Ohana restaurant at the Polynesian Resort. Just a short monorail ride from Magic Kingdom, phenomenal food and very accommodating to large parties, it is a great overall experience. Your best bet to try and get the whole party together is to be flexible on the times you eat. The more popular times around main meals get taken up quickly and available space may be an issue but say for dinner you are willing to eat at 4:30 p.m. in order to sit together might be the way to go. Think about also potentially splitting up your party in two to three smaller groups. You will have an easier time trying to get some of the harder reservations at either dinning locations or during the times you prefer to eat. Key tip here, when you check in for your reservation, talk to a Cast Member about trying to get the smaller parties closer together. As long as space allows, they may be able to have the tables closer together.

Reservations for dinning can be made 60 days prior to your arrival date and are most easily accessible online or through your My Disney Experience app on your smart device. If you are unable to find the reservations you are looking for or just having difficulty booking for your larger party, you can also call Disney Dinning at (407) 939-3463 and a Cast Member can help you with your reservations.

Good luck on your continued planning for your trip in March, it is coming so soon! If you have any further questions let us know, we love any excuse to talk all things Walt Disney World Resort.

    Happy planning,

    Nick
