Hi Sherri!
Your question makes me so happy! I visited
Walt Disney World Resort with a large group of students last summer and plan to do the same next summer. It so exciting to see Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of different Guests in large groups!
In theory, one person could manage
FastPass+ reservations for your entire group but that could pose several challenges with times and availability due to the amount of FastPass+ selections available at any given time on each attraction. We divided into much smaller groups (typically four to six). Some of the division was based on interest. For instance, we grouped students with other students with similar
attraction thrill level interests. It worked out very well. All students over the age of 13 created and managed their own
My Disney Experience account. The groups' members linked each other to their Family & Friends list and then made FastPass+ selections together based on their interests and schedule. Those under 13 were managed and linked by their parents or sponsoring adult. We also had each group of older kiddos linked via Family & Friends to one adult sponsor.
Depending on the size of your group, it may seem a bit overwhelming. Do like you would anything and break it down into smaller manageable groups and tasks and I assure you it will be magical. My entire family was on last summer's student group trip to Walt Disney World Resort and it was beyond magical!
Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical vacation. On behalf of everyone involved, thank you for the time and effort you are sharing with these students. You are helping to make memories they will treasure for a lifetime!
