Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question Sheryl.
I love a visit to “The Most Magical Place on Earth” during the fall season. It usually means a nice stroll around
EPCOT during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Your stay at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for your brother's birthday sounds like a celebration that will provide years of memorable moments. When it comes to making reservations for large groups the
My Disney Experience App will allow you to make Advanced Dining Reservations for up to 20 guests but those do not yield actual results in my previous experience. While there is no specific phone number for group dining reservations you can always visit the
Disney Dining website. What I always recommend is breaking up your group into groups of 8 to ensure the tables you reserve can accommodate your party. For the best chance, you will want to make reservations for the same times or within about 15 minutes of each other. When you first arrive for your meal I’d say a half hour early to see if you can request that your groups be sat together. I say early to give yourself a better opportunity for some magic to happen. These requests are not guaranteed. Cast members are always very accommodating and will try their hardest as long as they don’t impact other guests. Another tip for those larger requests is to make your reservation for a time that is not a normal mealtime. Maybe a late 3 p.m. lunch reservation gives you a better opportunity than making your reservations for 5:30 p.m. during primetime dinner hours.
October always reminds me of playoff baseball. I live in New Jersey too and my favorite team is usually in the mix, but they have some work to do in the second half of the season. If you follow the same team October baseball is a standard, and I’d like to recommend the best place to watch sports. If your brother likes things overdone
Rix Sports Bar & Grill might be a perfect fit for his celebration. I love this place for 32 reasons. The upscale sports lounge feel, and 31 state-of-the-art TVs. No matter which way you turn or who you look at the action is just over their shoulder.
You still have a good amount of time before reservations open up for you 60 days before your stay. If you have any other questions please visit us again at

Have a magical day,
