Our large group 30+ people will be honoring the life of a true hero. A wife, mother (6&3), sister, and friend. Our hero was killed in a med helicopter crash on Jan 2nd. She was the med flight nurse. Anything special WDW would do for her girls?

    HI Kathie,

First and foremost, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. She sounds like she was a true hero and she leaves a tremendous void in all of your lives. How wonderful that you will be visiting Walt Disney World to honor her life and share precious memories together.

I recommend that you contact Disney Floral & Gifts. There is a really special package called the "Honor Your Hero" medal that would be really special for you to order for her daughters. This past year the Moms Panel lost one of our precious members to cancer. Together we ordered 4 of these medals for her 3 children and her husband. We were able to change the wording slightly to reflect what we wanted it to say. We did all of this with the help of a manager in Disney Floral named Jean. I am going to forward your question on to her and I'll tell her that you may be contacting her to see what ideas she might have to help make your gathering extra special for the family. She can be reached at: 407-WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438). Ask to speak with the manager Jean V.

Please let me know if I can assist you further. I'm wishing you a very special time together as you commemorate the life of your precious loved one.
