Hi, there!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen. We just love when you stop by!
Traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with a big group is sure to be BIG fun. I vacationed with my extended family of 14 a few years ago, and we had the best time in
and out of the theme parks! We actually had a few reservations at
Be Our Guest Restaurant during our stay, and I'm happy to share our experiences pre-ordering our meals through
My Disney Experience. Our first reservation was for breakfast, so I went to each of the four hotel rooms we were divided between to collect orders for the order-ahead dining system the night before. I got everyone's orders added to
my My Disney Experience account and the next morning we enjoyed a delightful breakfast together in Beast's enchanted castle! Shortly after, though, I realized that 14 Quick-Service entitlements had been deducted from
my account instead of just four. Oops! I went to the Concierge Desk at our Disney Resort hotel that afternoon, and the friendly Cast Member there was able to redistribute everyone's entitlements so that each family within our group of 14 had the correct balance. For our lunch reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant later in the week, we took a different approach (the right one!). We were still able to take advantage of the order-ahead dining system, but this time we placed four separate orders. Even though we were all listed under one dining reservation, each of the four families dining together was able to use their personal My Disney Experience online accounts to place an order. When we arrived at Be Our Guest Restaurant, we were still seated together and our meals were delivered at the same time, but we each had the appropriate number of Quick-Service meal entitlements deducted from our accounts. Take my advice and be sure that each room places only
their personal orders when using the order-ahead dining system at Be Our Guest Restaurant!
Don't forget to keep track of your dining plan entitlements during your stay. Your entitlement balance will be printed at the bottom of all your Table-Service meal receipts, but you can also view that information on the
My Disney Experience mobile app at any time!
I hope this was helpful, Karen. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
